In a low-scoring contest on Sunday, the Broncos managed to secure a close victory over the winless New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix threw an early touchdown pass and specialist Wil Lutz kicked the late go-ahead field goal to seal the hard-fought win.

Dominant Performance Wins Contest

Even with registering nine sacks versus Jets quarterback Justin Fields, the Broncos were behind 11-10 following conceding a safety in the third quarter. Interestingly, the Jets could only produce a mere 82 total net yards throughout the contest.

The Denver quarterback, who went 19 of 30 passes for 174 yards, engineered a decisive 12-play, 65-yard drive that ended with Lutz's short kick with just over five minutes left.

However Fields was tackled on fourth-and-eight from the Denver 44 after head coach Aaron Glenn chose to attempt the conversion instead of calling on kicker Nick Folk for a long field-goal attempt.

The Jets quarterback struggled all game, connecting on just 9 of 17 attempts for 45 yards. The Jets ended up with minus-10 net yards passing, the fewest in any game since 1998.
